Deadly Floods in Southern China; 39 Dead
Chinese officials have reported devastating and deadly floods in the southern regions of the country. According to the latest reports, the incident, which occurred following the activity of Tropical Storm Maysak, has resulted in the death of 39 people.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to local sources, Tropical Storm Maysak, which was accompanied by torrential rains, caused rivers to overflow and caused severe flooding in residential areas in southern China.

The severity of these floods was such that in addition to extensive damage to infrastructure, it also destroyed one of the important dams in the city of Nanning. The collapse sent a huge volume of water to downstream areas and posed serious challenges to local forces in rescue operations.

Rescue teams are still in the flooded areas, searching for missing people and assessing the damage. Local authorities have warned that the death toll could rise in the coming hours.
