Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Gaza Health Ministry announced in a statement that about 70 percent of the patient transport service vehicles and ambulances in the area have been taken out of service due to direct targeting, technical failures and a lack of spare parts.
The ministry emphasized that the breakdown of a large part of the ambulance fleet has seriously disrupted the process of transporting the wounded and patients to medical centers and has severely reduced the capacity to respond to emergencies.
According to the statement, the medical transportation crisis has intensified at a time when Gaza’s health system was already struggling with severe shortages of medicine, medical equipment, fuel and treatment facilities, and many health centers continue to operate with limited capacity.
