Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Public Health has signed a project contract worth $439,416 with the AADA Foundation to strengthen and expand health services in Herat and Farah provinces. According to this contract, over the next one and a half years, more than 157,000 children suffering from moderate acute malnutrition and lactating mothers will benefit from nutrition services and 72 people will be provided with employment opportunities.
According to the ministry, the project will be implemented for one and a half years and aims to improve the quality of health services, increase citizens' access to health services, and reduce people's health problems.
Within the framework of this contract, through 117 health centers, nutrition services will be provided to 157,823 children with moderate acute malnutrition and lactating mothers in Herat and Farah provinces. In addition, 72 people will be provided with work opportunities in the health sector.
On the other hand, AADA officials have pledged to implement this project within one and a half years, in accordance with the established criteria, and to pay special attention to meeting the health needs of the people.
