Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in a statement that in the third phase of its response to US attacks, the IRGC Aerospace Force fighters targeted US aircraft carrier logistics support centers and refueling platforms in the Omani port of Duqm with missile attacks.
The statement, referring to the large attendance of people at the funeral of the martyred Imam, stated that this operation was carried out in the continuation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's response to the US attacks and described the "epic of warriors" as an extension of the will of the Iranian nation.
The Revolutionary Guard Corps also announced in another statement that in another phase of this operation, the Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan was targeted by a missile attack, and the command and control center and MQ-9 drone hangars at this base were hit.
The statement also claimed that the US, by imposing its will on the Omani government, attempted to create a new route south of the Strait of Hormuz, but this action was met with a reaction from the Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy, and subsequently, US air strikes on some Iranian coastal bases were met with a missile response from the IRGC.
On the other hand, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army announced in a statement that in response to the US attacks on areas in southern Iran, the army's drone units have carried out separate operations targeting US defense systems, ammunition depots, and radar centers in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The Islamic Republic of Iran's Army emphasized in this statement that the US will be responsible for the consequences of any escalation of tension and insecurity in the region, and that if the attacks continue, more severe responses will be on the agenda.
At the same time, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, issued a message stating that "the era of unilateral agreements has ended," adding: "We had told you to fulfill your obligations; otherwise, you will have to pay the price." He also emphasized the implementation of the provisions of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US, including arrangements related to traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
In this regard, the spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran's army, referring to what he called "America's disloyalty" in implementing the memorandum of understanding between the two countries, stated that, according to this memorandum, the responsibility for managing traffic and passage in the Strait of Hormuz lies with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and any action contrary to this agreement will be met with a response from Iran.
These developments have occurred while military tensions between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States have entered a new phase in recent days, and Iranian military and political officials have once again emphasized the continuation of responding to US attacks if they continue.
