Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to published reports, the office of Lindsey Graham, a Republican Senator from the US state of South Carolina, has announced that he died on the evening of Saturday, July 11, due to a sudden illness.
Graham was considered one of the most radical US politicians against the Islamic Republic of Iran and a staunch supporter of Washington’s confrontational policies against the Axis of Resistance in recent years. He has repeatedly supported increased pressure and military action against Iran and has taken a tough stance on the Gaza war. He has also called for increased military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran and broader support for the Zionist regime.
Following the news of his death, Itamar Ben-Giver, the Minister of Internal Security of the Zionist regime, stated in a message: “Israel has lost one of its greatest friends.”
Graham’s death comes at a time when, during his years of political activity, he was considered one of the influential figures in the US Republican movement in supporting Washington’s interventionist policies and supporting the Zionist regime’s actions in the region.
