Scientific comprehensiveness, knowledge of enemies, and emphasis on the unity of the Islamic nation were among the most prominent characteristics of Imam Khamenei (RA)

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – Mazar-e-Sharif: In an interview with an AVA reporter, Hojjatoleslam wa Muslimin Seyyed Hossein Shah Misbah, the preacher of the Grand Mosque and the Soltaniyeh Seminary, referred to the scientific and religious status of Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (RA), and stated that one of the most important factors influencing this personality was his scientific comprehensiveness.

 

He said: "In addition to achieving a high position as an authority in Islamic sciences, Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him) also possessed profound knowledge and insight in fields such as literature, mysticism, sociology, philosophy, logic, politics, and other sciences, and this scientific comprehensiveness had established his distinguished position among the thinkers of the Islamic world."

The religious scholar added that Imam Khamenei's (may Allah have mercy on him) scientific, cultural, and literary meetings with thinkers, writers, and intellectuals demonstrated his scientific mastery, expert perspective, and profound thinking on various subjects, and these characteristics had made him an influential figure in the Islamic world.

Hojjatoleslam Walmuslimin Misbah considered generosity, forgiveness, and the spirit of tolerance to be other prominent characteristics of Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him) and said: Despite being repeatedly insulted, slandered, and unloved by friends and enemies, he never sought revenge, but always worked with patience, tolerance, and a reformist approach for the honor of Islam, the pride of Muslims, and the progress of Islamic Iran.

He also described enemy recognition as one of the most important aspects of Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him)'s personality and clarified that he, with a precise understanding of the policies and plans of the enemies, always warned against the actions of the United States and the Zionist regime, emphasizing that these two are sworn enemies of Islam and Muslims and will not be the benefactors of the Islamic Ummah.

According to him, Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him) has repeatedly expressed this view explicitly to the leaders of Islamic countries and freedom-loving people of the world, emphasizing the need to be vigilant against the conspiracies of the enemies.

The preacher of the Soltaniyeh Grand Mosque and Seminary continued by listing Imam Khamenei's (may Allah have mercy on him) firm belief in the unity of the Islamic Ummah as one of his other outstanding characteristics and stated: Whenever there was talk of defending the oppressed in the world, he stood by the oppressed, and supporting the axis of resistance was one of the clearest examples of this approach. He concluded by noting that Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him) always believed that many of the problems of the Islamic world were rooted in oppression, tyranny, and division, and that only by maintaining unity, solidarity, and coherence among Muslims can we resist the conspiracies of the enemies and preserve and strengthen the honor, independence, and authority of the Islamic Ummah.
