Iran warns against cooperation with aggressors; the origin of every attack is the legitimate target of a defensive response
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, condemning the US attacks against Iran over the past 24 hours, emphasized the country's right to legitimate defense and its determination to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and warned that any use of the territory or facilities of other countries to invade Iran will expose those countries to responsibility and that the origin of every attack will be the legitimate target of a defensive response by the Iranian armed forces.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement strongly condemning the recent US military attacks against Iran, calling them a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and a serious threat to international peace and security.

The statement stated that the recent US attacks, in addition to violating Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter, have seriously challenged the efforts of the past few months to reduce tension and establish stability in the West Asian region.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also announced that, despite only 25 days having passed since the signing of the end-of-war memorandum, the US has violated almost all of the provisions of the agreement and committed acts contrary to international law by attacking transportation infrastructure, fishing boats, cargo ships, meteorological facilities and buildings.

The statement continued by accusing the US of interfering in the implementation of the arrangements related to the Strait of Hormuz and stating that the use of the territory and facilities of some countries on the southern shore of the Persian Gulf to carry out military operations against Iran has exposed these countries to responsibility arising from this conflict.

Emphasizing the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to self-defense, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that neighboring countries are obliged, based on international law, to prevent the use of their territory and facilities for military operations against Iran, and that any origin or source of an attack against Iran will be the legitimate target of a defensive response by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In another part of the statement, the US President’s claims about the Muscat talks were rejected and described as “pure lies.” According to the statement, the Muscat talks focused on arrangements for managing the Strait of Hormuz and maritime traffic routes, and the US has prevented a result in this regard by exerting pressure on Oman.

Finally, the Iranian Foreign Ministry criticized what it called the UN Secretariat's unconstructive approach to US actions, and called on the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibility for maintaining international peace and security and prosecute and punish the perpetrators and commanders of the attacks against Iran.
