Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): On the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Muhammad al-Dif, known as "Abu Khalid", commander-in-chief of the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, and Rafi Salameh, commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement honoring the memory of these two commanders.
Hamas announced that Muhammad al-Dif was martyred following the Israeli army's attack on the Gaza Strip, but the legacy of his resistance and struggles will continue to live in the Palestinian national memory and will inspire and guide future Palestinian generations on the path to freedom and an end to the occupation.
The statement also emphasized the continuation of the path of the martyred commanders and adherence to the goals of the resistance.
Muhammad al-Dif was a prominent figure in the military wing of Hamas and commanded the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades for many years. Rafi Salameh was also a senior commander of this military wing and was in charge of the Khan Yunis Brigade, who was martyred along with Muhammad al-Dif during the Israeli army's attacks on the Gaza Strip.
