India donates tents to Afghan returnees
The Ministry of External Affairs of India has announced that, in continuation of its humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, it has handed over a number of family tents to the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates. This assistance has been provided with the aim of providing shelter and supporting the resettlement and rehabilitation process of returnees.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of External Affairs of India has announced in a press release that, within the framework of its continued humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, it has donated a number of family tents to the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

According to this press release, these tents have been provided to the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates to provide temporary shelter and support the resettlement and rehabilitation process of Afghan citizens who have returned to the country from neighboring countries.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has emphasized that New Delhi will continue to provide humanitarian support to the people of Afghanistan and will continue to cooperate with the responsible Afghan institutions to alleviate the problems arising from the large-scale return of refugees.

It is said that in recent months, along with the increase in the return of Afghan refugees, especially from neighboring countries, the need for shelter, basic services and temporary settlement facilities has increased.

Meanwhile, a number of regional countries and international organizations have supported the process of addressing the needs of the returnees by providing humanitarian assistance, including food, medical equipment and settlement tents.
