Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced today (Tuesday) by releasing announcements No. 6 to 9 of Operation Nasr 2, the expansion of the scope of operations against targets related to the US army in the region and announced that the response to what was called "enemy aggression" is still ongoing.

According to Announcement No. 6, the IRGC Navy announced that two supertankers that had attempted to pass through a route declared as mined by turning off their navigation systems and ignoring warnings from the Strait of Hormuz Security Control Center were targeted and disabled.

The IRGC emphasized that cooperating with American forces and passing through illegal routes would only cause damage, delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and exacerbate the energy crisis.

In Announcement No. 7, the IRGC announced the implementation of the second wave of Operation Nasr 2, codenamed “Ya Latharat Al-Hussein (AS),” and announced that several weapons storage facilities, a satellite communications center, and a building housing American forces at the Jufeir base in Bahrain were targeted and destroyed by IRGC Navy missiles and drones. The announcement also stated that this operation was carried out in response to American airstrikes against some Iranian military centers and coastal stations.

Further, and based on Announcement No. 8, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that in the second phase of the second wave of Operation Nasr 2, the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain was targeted by missile and drone attacks.

According to the IRGC, the fleet’s fuel tanks caught fire and radar systems, including the Patriot radar, the Fifth Fleet’s air control radar, and a C-RAM early warning system, were destroyed. The fleet’s unmanned boat control and guidance center was also completely destroyed.

In Announcement No. 9, the IRGC also announced the implementation of the third phase of the second wave of Operation Nasr 2 and announced that an air base used by the US military in Jordan, which the IRGC said was being used for attacks against Iran, was targeted with ballistic missiles.

In this announcement, the IRGC issued a message to the Jordanian people, emphasizing that it has no enmity with the Jordanian people and considers the people of this country to be supporters of the Palestinian cause.

The message also called on the Jordanian people to demand the removal of US military bases from the region, describing this action as a step towards the return of security and support for the Palestinian people.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has emphasized that Operation Nasr 2 is still ongoing and that the response to US military actions will be pursued in the next stages.
