Israeli forces launch massive attack on West Bank; dozens of Palestinians arrested

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Palestinian sources reported a massive attack by Israeli forces on various areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, arresting dozens of Palestinian citizens.

 

According to the Shahab News Agency, Israeli forces raided the town of Barqin west of Jenin and the village of Kobar north of Ramallah, searched several residential homes and arrested "Wael Dawood" in the city of Qalqilya.

 

In Nablus Governorate, the Zionist forces raided the villages of Aynabus, Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya and the town of Beita and after searching their homes, they arrested “Momen Muhammad Suleiman” and “Farouk Majdi Hamayel”. At the same time, several other homes in Beita were searched.

 

In Ramallah, the occupying forces arrested “Mohammed Hassan Saadi Sharitah”, a Palestinian journalist living in the village of Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya. They also blocked the entrance to the town of Sinjal and raided the Umm Al-Shara’it neighborhood in the city of Al-Bireh.

 

In continuation of these operations, the Zionist regime forces attacked the Qalandiya camp in the north of occupied Jerusalem and turned the camp’s popular committee building into a field interrogation center.

 

According to this report, a number of Palestinian youth were also arrested after raiding their homes.

 

Palestinian sources also reported that the Zionist forces continued their attacks on the Doha area and the Al-Dahisheh camp in the east of Bethlehem; Where the occupying forces searched homes and arrested a number of other Palestinians.

 

As the Israeli army intensified its attacks, the Israeli settlers also expanded their attacks against the Palestinians.

 

According to this report, the settlers used pepper spray to attack foreign activists supporting Palestine at the Al-Ka'abnah gathering in eastern Ramallah.

 

In Wadi al-Rahim, south of Yatta, a number of Palestinian citizens were injured when settlers attacked their homes. Another group of settlers also raided Palestinian homes in the Al-Qarn-Al-Minya area in eastern Bethlehem and punctured the tires of a number of Palestinian cars in the Al-Aqaba area in the town of Beit Dejan, east of Nablus.

 

These attacks continue while the West Bank has witnessed a significant increase in Israeli military raids and settler attacks against Palestinian citizens in recent months.
