Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Hassan Fadlallah, a Lebanese parliament member and member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" faction, in a speech criticizing the performance of the Lebanese government, announced that the people of this country do not trust the current government; because this government is neither working to protect the people, liberate the occupied territories, and defend national sovereignty, nor has it prioritized Lebanon's interests.
Referring to the recent agreement known as the "Framework Agreement," he stated that by accepting this agreement, the Lebanese government has ignored the land, the nation, the sovereignty, and the legitimate rights of the country, and has presented a model in which national interests have been sacrificed to foreign demands.
Fadlallah added that the government's main concern is to find ways to weaken the Lebanese power elements, and he attributed this approach to the government's dependence on foreign programs aimed at weakening the resistance and disarming Hezbollah.
This senior Hezbollah member emphasized: "Anyone who studies the text of the framework agreement and has a minimal familiarity with the law, the constitution, and international agreements will clearly understand that all of its provisions are drafted in favor of the enemy, and there is not even a single clause, let alone a single word, in favor of Lebanon."
He also described the agreement as "the worst and most shameful agreement in the history of states," and said: "Nowhere in the world has a country signed an agreement with an occupying regime that does not contain even a single word in favor of that country's national interests."
Fadlallah continued by explaining Hezbollah's approach in the current situation, stating that the resistance is dealing with developments in the region with wisdom, courage, and full readiness. Referring to recent developments in the region, including the events related to the Strait of Hormuz, he expressed hope that an agreement would ultimately be reached that would serve the interests of the nations of the region.
He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran is trying to form a new equation in the region that benefits the countries of the region, including Lebanon, and stated that Hezbollah has full confidence in the leadership of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation to reach a solution that will lead to the Zionist regime’s withdrawal from the occupied territories, a complete cessation of aggression, the return of refugees, the release of prisoners, and the reconstruction of the affected areas.
Regarding the situation of the refugees, the Lebanese parliamentarian also said that the daily suffering of the people is a direct result of the Zionist regime’s aggression against Lebanon. He emphasized that Hezbollah is working with all its might to alleviate the people’s problems and considers this responsibility a religious, moral, and national duty.
