Afghan Voice Agency (AWA) - Kabul: During his visit to Doha today (Wednesday), Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and his accompanying delegation conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate on the occasion of the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Emir of Qatar, to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
According to the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mawlawi Muttaqi met and talked with a number of senior officials of the State of Qatar during this visit. In the meantime, he met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
Also, in the continuation of this program, the Afghan Foreign Minister exchanged views with Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Qatar, and Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khelaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
