Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Informed US officials say that the Pentagon is preparing for a military invasion and ground invasion of Cuba.
CBS News reported this morning (Thursday) citing these sources that the US Department of War has recently reviewed military options against Cuba, including the large-scale deployment of amphibious forces.
The report said: "Military strategists have examined a wide range of possible actions against the island (Cuba) in recent weeks, including an army air strike involving thousands of US troops and carried out by the 101st Airborne Division."
In late June, the US military held a briefing to discuss preliminary plans for a number of potential military targets in Cuba.
