Afghanistan and Egypt emphasize expanding bilateral cooperation in meeting of diplomatic officials

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulvi Abdul Muqim Qara, the head of the Islamic Emirate Embassy in Cairo, met with Ambassador Al-Dusouqi Yousef, the Egyptian Deputy Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs, and discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation and other common issues.

 

The Islamic Emirate Embassy in Cairo has announced in a press release that the meeting was held within the framework of diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Egypt.

 

According to the press release, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the development of bilateral cooperation and other issues of common interest in this meeting and emphasized the continuation of diplomatic interaction and consultations.

 

Afghanistan and Egypt have long-standing diplomatic relations and have interacted in various political, cultural, educational and bilateral cooperation fields in recent years. Meetings between officials of the two countries are held to maintain and strengthen these relations and explore areas of joint cooperation.
