Democrats lead in new poll to take over US House of Representatives majority
The results of the latest joint poll between the Washington Post and Ipsos Research Institute show that the Democratic Party has a better chance than the Republicans to regain the majority in the US House of Representatives in the upcoming midterm elections.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to the data from this poll, voters have shown a greater tendency to support the Democratic Party by a difference of 3 percentage points; as 48 percent of the participants have announced that they will vote for the Democrats in the upcoming elections, while this figure is estimated at 45 percent for the Republican Party.

A notable point in this report is the difference between the general attitude of voters and the decision of those who intend to definitely participate in the November elections. Among those who say they will “definitely” vote, support for the Democratic Party is more pronounced at 53 percent to 45 percent for the Republican Party.

This 8-point gap among undecided voters indicates the potential for Democrats to swing the outcome based on this group of voters.

Although the poll shows a Democratic advantage, the narrow gap between the two parties suggests a very close and volatile race in the US political landscape, which could swing in either party’s favor as political momentum shifts in the final weeks.
