Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: Jan Mohammad Haidari, Technical and Professional Deputy of the Physical Education and Sports Department of Ghor Province, announced in an interview with AVA that the newly established federation was inaugurated by holding a demonstration and initial flight.
Haidari, introducing the officials of this new institution, announced that Mohammad Rasool Kohnaward has been appointed as the head of the Paragliding Federation in Ghor Province. He added that during the inauguration ceremony, the climber demonstrated a successful flight from the high altitudes of the Badgah Village area in Firozkoh City, the provincial capital.
The Technical and Professional Deputy of the Olympic Department of Physical Education and Sports of Ghor considered the establishment of this federation a positive and unprecedented step in the field of individual sports in the province. He stated that the purpose of launching this program was to expand this sport and encourage young people to join modern and exciting sports.
On the other hand, a number of young people from Ghor Province welcomed the creation of this new sport and, while expressing their enthusiasm for activity in this field, asked the relevant authorities to support the further growth of this sport by providing the necessary facilities and infrastructure.
