More than 30 items of jihadi artifacts and documents were handed over to the Herat Jihadi Museum

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-Herat: According to officials from the Herat Directorate of Information and Culture, these artifacts were handed over to the Jihadi Museum of this department during a meeting between Maulvi Mohammad Wali Omari, General Director for Preservation of Jihadi Artifacts of the Herat Directorate of Information and Culture, and Qari Aminul Haq Khadem, Head of Planning and Operations of the 555th Operational Unit and Representative of the Delgi Section of Sheikh Abdul Karim Haider and Mufti Abdul Wadood Idris.

 

Maulvi Mohammad Wali Omari, appreciating the cooperation of the officials and individuals involved in collecting these artifacts, said that preserving jihadi documents and relics plays an important role in transmitting the history, values, and sacrifices of the Mujahideen and martyrs to future generations.

He assured that these artifacts will be preserved in a standard manner and will be exhibited in the Jihadi Museum for public viewing.

 

According to him, the artifacts delivered include a complete set of military training uniforms, two communication devices used in operations, a pair of military gloves, a pair of vests, a pair of prayer beads, three wristwatches, a volume of the book "Mashara' al-Ashwaq" and a number of jihadi documents, correspondence and documents related to the twenty-year period of jihad.

 

Meanwhile, Qari Aminul Haq Khadem, while appreciating the activities of the General Administration for the Preservation of Jihadi Artifacts, emphasized the continuation of cooperation in the field of identifying, collecting and preserving jihadi artifacts and documents, and considered this action an important step in preserving the heritage of jihad.

 

At the end of this meeting, in recognition of Qari Aminul Haq Khadem's cooperation and efforts, the General Administration for the Preservation of Jihadi Artifacts presented him with three volumes of the jihadi magazines "Cherak", "Haqeeq" and "Shahamat".

 

The General Administration for Preservation of Jihadi Artifacts of the Herat Information and Culture Department has in recent years put on the agenda the process of collecting, registering, preserving and displaying artifacts, documents and equipment left over from the Jihad period. Officials of this administration say that the goal of creating and developing the Jihadi Museum is to preserve historical heritage, document Jihad events and familiarize the younger generation with a part of the country's contemporary history through the display of related artifacts and documents.
