Pashinyan reappointed as Armenia’s Prime Minister after ceremonial resignation
Armenian President Vahagan Khachaturian has reappointed Nikol Pashinyan as the country’s Prime Minister by issuing a decree.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The appointment came after the government’s ceremonial resignation on the first day of the new parliament’s inauguration; a move that is considered a routine procedure for forming a new cabinet under the Armenian constitution.

Pashinyan announced that the government members will continue to perform their duties until a new cabinet is formed. This process comes as Armenia has faced numerous political and economic challenges in recent months and the new government is expected to present its plans for managing these crises.

It is worth noting that Pashinyan has been the Prime Minister of Armenia since 2018 and has recently faced various challenges, including border disputes with the Republic of Azerbaijan.
