Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Referring to the indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington in recent weeks, Fadlallah said: “Iran continues to make Lebanon its main priority, whether in indirect negotiations with the US or through resistance against it in the field, and we will work with all our might to liberate our land and rebuild it.”
He also added that the Americans have pressured the Lebanese government to sign an agreement with the occupying regime in order to achieve a political, media and diplomatic victory, but this agreement has "no practical application."
These statements come at a time when Hezbollah had previously emphasized that Iran "will include Lebanon in any agreement with the United States" and Iranian officials have repeatedly insisted on the need to stop the war in Lebanon as part of any broader agreement with Washington.
