Telegraph: Trump’s war on Iran has become a strategic failure for the US
The Telegraph newspaper wrote in an article by “Jake Wallis Simmons” that US President Donald Trump’s war against the Islamic Republic of Iran is now considered a “strategic failure” for the United States.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)- International Service: Referring to the failure of Washington’s military plans in the region, the author emphasized that the US has been dragged into a “quagmire of attrition war” in this conflict.

The article states: “Trump’s war against the Islamic Republic of Iran can now be declared a strategic failure for the most powerful country on earth.” Simmons, who was previously a supporter of the US military approach against Iran, now believes that Washington’s failure to plan for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz was a “strategic mistake of historic proportions.”

Referring to the decline in US military power and the depletion of missile reserves, he emphasized that this war has not only failed to achieve its goals of regime change in Iran, but has also turned into an "endless war" and imposed heavy costs on the US and its allies.
