Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Public Health has issued a press release announcing the signing of a cooperation agreement with an institution worth more than $163,000 to provide nutrition and health services in Badghis province.
According to the ministry, based on this agreement, health and nutrition services will be provided through 42 health centers in Badghis and a total of 51,828 residents of the province will benefit from these services.
The Ministry of Public Health added that within the framework of this cooperation, 29 people will also be provided with work opportunities in the health sector.
This program will be implemented with the aim of expanding health and nutrition services and improving access to health services for residents of different regions of Badghis.
Providing health and nutrition services through health centers in remote provinces can play an important role in increasing people's access to health care and reducing problems caused by malnutrition. Creating job opportunities for local health workers can also help to ensure the sustainability of service provision and strengthen the capacity of health centers in this province.
