Zelensky, acknowledging that the United States provides Ukraine with missiles every month, clarified that the number of these missiles is not enough to counter Russian attacks. He said: "Do they (the United States) provide us with missiles every month? Yes. We have agreements (together). Are there enough of these missiles? No (there are none)."
Zelensky's comments come after US President Donald Trump previously expressed doubts about licensing the production of Patriot missiles in Ukraine, saying the United States should be "a little cautious" about transferring its advanced military technologies to other countries.
This comes as the New York Times previously reported that arms shipments to Ukraine had been reduced threefold and that Western allies were no longer responsive to Kiev's requests.
