Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Ministry of Defense of the Saudi-backed Yemeni government announced the killing of Saghir bin Aziz, the chief of the joint staff of these forces, in the precision missile attacks by the Yemeni armed forces on the "Sahn al-Jin" military camp in Marib province.
It is said that these attacks, which were carried out using a large number of ballistic missiles and drones, targeted the Sahn al-Jin camp and the military positions of the forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia in Marib. Military sources reported that at least 17 soldiers affiliated with the resigned government were killed and a number of others were wounded in these attacks.
The Yemeni armed forces, announcing the operation, described it as a response to “massive Saudi military movements” and “the gathering of mercenaries in various areas of Marib and Hadramaut.” The attacks are part of a “siege against siege” equation against Saudi Arabia that has intensified since late July.
In recent days, hundreds of Saudi-backed soldiers have been killed and wounded in attacks by Yemeni forces.
