Netanyahu's plan to build a city under Israeli control in southern Gaza

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Israeli Army Radio reported that Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel Katz have issued a permit for the first time to begin reconstruction operations and create infrastructure in eastern Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip; a measure based on which an area called "Green Rafah" is to be created.

According to the report, the decision was made about two weeks ago and without official announcement. According to the presented plan, this area will be created in the area known as the "Yellow Line" and a housing complex for Palestinians is to be built there.

The Israeli Army Radio claimed that this complex will be outside the control of the Hamas movement and will be managed and supervised by international forces; A plan that actually seeks to create a new structure for settling Palestinians in parts of the southern Gaza Strip and impose the security arrangements desired by the occupying regime.

Israeli security sources also announced that the regime's army intends to allow Palestinian workers from Gaza, whose security records are being reviewed by the Israeli Internal Security Agency (Shabak), to enter the Rafah area.

According to this plan, Palestinian workers are to begin preliminary reconstruction operations, including drawing lines, constructing electricity, water, sewage networks, and other necessary infrastructure.

The Israeli army radio has predicted that the operation to equip workshops and prepare for the implementation of this project will begin in the coming weeks.

This plan has been proposed while the Israeli regime has destroyed large parts of the region in recent months by continuing its attacks and occupation policies in the Gaza Strip and has pursued various plans to impose new security and management arrangements on Gaza.
