Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In an interview with the BBC's "Newsnight" program, Hunter Biden became emotional while talking about his father's condition and said that Joe Biden's cancer had metastasized to his bones and beyond.
He described his father's condition as "very painful" and "very debilitating" and said: "Cancer is really hard. It's really sad to watch."
Referring to his father's position in the family, Hunter Biden said that Joe Biden remains the center of the family, adding: "My father is the center of our family to this day. He is the best father, the best husband and the best grandfather."
Joe Biden, 83, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer in May 2025 after experiencing urinary symptoms. Doctors found a mass in his prostate during tests and found that the cancer had spread to his bones before it was diagnosed.
The former US president is still undergoing treatment. His treatment has included radiation and hormone therapy, which began in October.
Biden said after announcing his diagnosis that he was “feeling good” and doctors expressed hope that the treatments would be effective.
