Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The process of sending the Arbaeen pilgrimage caravans from Kabul continues, and on Saturday, August 8, more than 600 pilgrims who love and adore Hazrat Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS) and his loyal companions, including pilgrims from the "Auliya Baba" tourism and pilgrimage company, left west of Kabul for Herat province and then to the attractive border of Iraq.
Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Sayed Peywand Ali Sajjadi, the cleric of the Auliya Baba company's pilgrimage caravan, told AVA that the movement of these caravans will be carried out by passenger buses within Afghanistan.
Referring to the widespread interest of the Afghan people in the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (AS) and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), he added that despite economic problems, the Afghan people have great love and interest in participating in this spiritual journey.
Sajjadi asked the Mawaqebs and Hussainiyyas that are on the route of the pilgrimage caravans of Afghan, Iranian and Iraqi pilgrims to continue providing their services, as many Afghan caravans are still on the way.
While thanking the governments of Iran and Iraq for issuing visas to Afghan pilgrims, he emphasized that in the coming years, pilgrimage visas should be issued before the start of the Arbaeen ceremony so that pilgrims can participate in the ceremony at the appropriate time.
On the other hand, Sayed Ali Mousavi, Deputy Director of the Ouliya Baba Pilgrimage and Tourism Company, called the love and affection of the Afghan people for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) unparalleled and said that Afghan pilgrims do not feel tired on the pilgrimage route due to their heartfelt interest.
He considered Afghan pilgrims to be among the pilgrims who, in many cases, cannot reach the pilgrimage on the main days of Arbaeen due to visa issuance problems and called on the governments of Iran and Iraq to start the visa issuance process before Arbaeen.
Mousavi also thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the officials of the country's embassy in Kabul, for their cooperation in issuing visas, and said that the Auliya Baba pilgrimage company will transport 400 pilgrims to the shrines this year.
In response to some speculations about the increase in the number of pilgrimage visas, he said that given the existing restrictions, there is no possibility of a significant increase in visas.
Also, Sayed Ahmad Zia Piroozi, the head of a pilgrimage and tourism company, called on Iran and Iraq to issue visas to Afghan pilgrims before the Arbaeen days so that they can attend the great Arbaeen ceremony like other Muslims.
He said: "We ask the officials, especially the Arbaeen headquarters, to issue visas to the pilgrims sooner, because the economic level of the Afghan people is low and they do not have much financial capacity."
Meanwhile, Sayed Agha Hassan Mousavi, one of the pilgrims, said that this is his second trip to visit Imam Hussein (AS) and if the opportunity arises, he will make this spiritual journey every year.
He called the love and affection of the Afghan people for Imam Hussein (AS) indescribable and asked the supporters and donors not to stop providing their services soon, because the Afghan pilgrimage caravans are still on their way to the borders.
Sayed Shakar Sardari, another pilgrim, also said that this is his third trip to visit Imam Hussein (AS) and he will continue to visit as long as he is alive.
