Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Nouri Qezeljeh has traveled to Kabul at the head of a delegation of officials and economic activists with the aim of expanding agricultural and trade cooperation and participating in the international agricultural and livestock exhibition.
Extensive participation of Iranian companies in the Kabul exhibition
The country's first international agricultural and livestock exhibition opened in Kabul today, with the participation of more than 52 Iranian companies and high-ranking officials from the two countries.
Alireza Bekdali, Iranian Ambassador to Kabul, said at the opening ceremony of the event: "Iran is actively participating in this exhibition with the presence of 32 companies with booths and 20 companies as visitors."
He also emphasized that holding this exhibition is a sign of progress, stability and security in the country.
Nouri Qezeljeh had previously met with high-ranking delegations of our country in Tehran and emphasized Iran’s readiness for technical and engineering cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Purpose of the trip and exhibition
The first international agricultural exhibition will be held in Kabul from August 11 to 16, and its goal is to support domestic production, create a market for farmers’ products, and introduce the capacities of this sector to regional countries.
The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock said at the ceremony: “The agricultural sector constitutes 35 percent of the country’s GDP.”
