Reports of Ansarullah’s renewed missile attack on Al-Mokha Port; Sanaa demands real guarantees from Saudi Arabia

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: A military source affiliated with the Saudi-backed forces announced that Ansarullah Yemen targeted Al-Mokha Port on two occasions with ballistic missiles.

 

This attack was reported while Mohammad Al-Bakhiti, a member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement, spoke about the increasing experience of the country’s armed forces in military confrontations over the past years.

Al-Bakhiti stated: The Yemeni armed forces have gained valuable experience in direct military confrontations with Israel, the United States, Britain and Saudi Arabia over the past 12 years.

He added that the Yemeni armed forces choose their targets carefully and, in the current situation, have put weapons depots and positions of Saudi forces on the agenda of their attacks.

The member of the Ansarullah political bureau also claimed that Saudi Arabia is censoring its losses and casualties, especially the number of those killed.

Al-Bakhiti emphasized: “We are currently only targeting the enemy’s military infrastructure.”

He continued by addressing Yemenis who are present in Saudi military camps, advising them to leave these centers to save their lives.

 

Ansarullah’s warning about Israel’s presence near Yemen’s borders

The member of the Ansarullah political bureau also emphasized the Yemeni forces’ continued confrontation with the “expansionism and warmongering of the Zionist regime.”

Al-Bakhiti said that the Yemeni forces will target any Israeli military or intelligence presence in Somalia or other places close to Yemen’s borders.

 

Alleged secret message from Riyadh to Yemeni negotiating team

Along with these developments, a Tasnim News Agency reporter in Sanaa reported, citing sources close to the Yemeni negotiating team in Muscat, that following “effective strikes by Ansar Allah” on the positions of the army and forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia in Yemen, Riyadh announced in a secret message to the Yemeni negotiating team that it wants an end to the fighting and a return to the 2022 agreement between Riyadh and Sanaa.

According to the report, this Saudi request was conveyed to the Yemeni negotiating team, but was met with opposition from Ansar Allah officials.

Sources close to the Yemeni negotiating team in Muscat announced that after receiving this message and what was described as Riyadh’s withdrawal from recent hostile positions, Sanaa emphasized the need to receive “serious and real” guarantees to secure the interests of the Yemeni people.

According to these sources, these guarantees should include, in particular, ending the siege of Yemen, paying compensation, and ending Saudi Arabia’s interference in Yemeni internal affairs.

 

Accordingly, while missile attacks and military tensions between Yemeni and Saudi-backed forces continue, reports of the confidential message from Riyadh indicate that efforts are underway to return to the path of agreement and end the fighting, although Sanaa's position is based on receiving specific guarantees and meeting its demands before any new agreement.
