Intense air and ground attacks by the Zionist regime on Lebanon

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Israeli army intensified its attacks on various areas in southern Lebanon this morning (Sunday) and simultaneously targeted several areas in the cities of Nabatiyeh and Tyre with air, artillery and machine gun attacks.

 

According to Lebanese media reports, Israeli warplanes bombed areas between the Ali al-Taher and Al-Dabsha heights in the city of Nabatiyeh. Al-Dabsha heights were also targeted by air and artillery attacks by the Israeli army in the continuation of these attacks.

 

At the same time, Israeli army soldiers fired machine guns at the Ali al-Taher heights, and the regime's artillery also targeted these heights with phosphorus bullets.

 

Reports also indicate that the Israeli army has launched phosphorus attacks on areas around the town of Kafr Raman.

 

In the continuation of the attacks, Israeli warplanes also targeted the Deir Siryan region in southern Lebanon. Israeli army artillery also shelled the town of Al-Mansouri in the province of Tyre.

 

At the same time, Lebanese sources report clashes and heavy gunfire around the Ali Taher heights and the fighters’ efforts to counter the advance of Israeli soldiers towards these areas.

 

The Hebrew website “Hadshot Bazman” also wrote that Israeli military sources report a “dangerous security incident in southern Lebanon.”

 

“Dangerous security incident” is a term that Israeli circles use to describe the targeting of the regime’s soldiers.

 

The new round of the Zionist regime’s attacks on southern Lebanon began yesterday morning after Hezbollah fighters ambushed the regime’s soldiers on the path of their advance in the Ali Taher heights. After this clash, the occupation forces launched air and artillery attacks on the Ali Taher heights and the towns of "Ansar" and "Deir al-Zahrani".

 

According to the Prime Minister's Office of the Zionist regime, three soldiers were injured in this clash and were transferred to hospitals in northern occupied Palestine; according to Hebrew media, all three are reported to be in critical condition.

 

In this regard, a reporter for Israel's Channel 12 claimed that the attacks on southern Lebanon this morning were carried out in response to the injury of these three soldiers.

 

On the other hand, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced yesterday that the number of casualties from the Israeli attacks on the towns of "Ansar" and "Deir al-Zahrani" has reached 11 martyrs and 19 wounded.
