Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al-Jazeera, elements affiliated with the self-proclaimed Yemeni government backed by Saudi Arabia announced that Ansarullah forces targeted Al-Mukha port in their new operation by firing several missiles and using several drones.
Yesterday, the director of Yemen's Al-Mukha port announced that the port had suspended its commercial and maritime operations after being hit by more than 25 missiles in Ansarullah attacks in recent days.
He said in a press conference: These attacks resulted in the deaths of seven people and damage of approximately $16 million.
Al-Mukha is a port in the Red Sea near the Bab al-Mandab Strait; a strategic chokepoint that connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden and is a key route for international shipping.
Yemen's Ansarullah announced that it had targeted a weapons depot and warships belonging to elements backed by Saudi Arabia in Al-Mokha.
Earlier, General Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni army and armed forces, said that Saudi army positions were targeted by drone and missile attacks.
According to this report, Yemeni forces targeted Saudi military gathering centers, warships belonging to mercenaries and their allies in the Al-Mokha area with a large number of ballistic missiles.
