Indian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: We are seeking to maintain contact with Kabul and strengthen bilateral relations

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to news reports, Jaiswal, referring to the historical and cultural relations between India and Afghanistan, emphasized the continuation of diplomatic interactions and the expansion of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

 

These statements come at a time when India is among the countries that, despite not officially recognizing the Islamic Emirate, has maintained its diplomatic relations with Afghanistan and is participating in development projects and humanitarian aid in the country.

 

Previously, the Indian embassy in Kabul remained active and New Delhi has emphasized its commitment to providing assistance to the people of Afghanistan.
