These comments were published in response to Trump's new post on the social network "Truth Social," in which he called the Strait of Hormuz "the new territory of the United States" by publishing a picture of this strategic waterway.
Previously, the spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters had denied US claims about normal vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz and emphasized Iran's complete control over the waterway. Iran has repeatedly stated that as long as the US naval blockade and sanctions continue, the Strait of Hormuz will not be truly secure.
