Senior officials of the Islamic Emirate emphasize military capabilities, national unity and non-interference by foreigners on Independence Day

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulvi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, the country’s Minister of Defense, said at the ceremony that efforts are underway to equip security forces with modern technology and called on the people to be vigilant against conspiracies from some quarters. He emphasized that Afghanistan has a responsible system that does not allow threats to be created from its soil against other countries.

 

Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi also pointed out that the security of the countries in the region is interdependent and said that some parties are trying to create instability and distrust, but the countries in the region have now realized that they should not allow the goals of foreigners to be implemented in the region.

 

Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani also emphasized that "harassing people at the instigation of foreigners is neither the will of Afghanism nor the demand of Islam," and called on the opposition to stop conspiring against the system.

 

Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, and Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy to the Prime Minister, also emphasized the capability of the security and defense forces to suppress any threat and their full readiness to defend the system.
