Atlantic: Trump's Advisers Admit They Have Lost the Iran War

Trump's advisers have openly admitted that "we are just trying to survive the midterm elections."

 

According to the Atlantic report, which is consistent with analyses by other media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal and Frankfurter Rundschau, the US military campaign against Iran has lost its effectiveness and Washington's ammunition reserves have been severely reduced. The White House’s initial promises of “regime change in Iran” or “stopping the nuclear program” have been completely abandoned.

 

According to these reports, Trump, who initially predicted a quick victory in the war, is now faced with a harsh reality. The war has neither achieved its military goals nor ended on time. Instead, Iran has taken control of the Strait of Hormuz and affected the global economy. This situation has caused Trump’s popularity to decline and Republicans to worry about its political consequences in the upcoming elections.
