Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of former Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahwi and a number of government ministers, the Yemeni government emphasized the continuation of the path of martyred leaders and adherence to their positions.
Martyr Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahwi was martyred on August 28, 2025, in an airstrike by the occupying regime on a building in Sanaa, along with a number of Yemeni ministers, including Yemeni Foreign Minister Jamal Ahmed Ali Amer.
In a statement on the occasion of this anniversary, the Yemeni government announced that the martyrdom of Al-Rahwi and his companions following the “criminal and cowardly” attack by the Zionist regime was the end of a long path of struggle during which they bravely and steadfastly faced the most difficult conditions and challenges.
The statement stated that the martyrdom of the officials is an honor for a country that has put all its capabilities at the service of the issues of the Islamic Ummah.
The Yemeni government also emphasized that the blood of its martyrs during the battle of the “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad” is mixed with the blood of the martyrs of Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and Iraq in the face of a common enemy.
The Yemeni government emphasized: “Yemen is a place of production of heroes and leaders, and every commander who is martyred in the field of jihad, by the grace of God, dozens of commanders will replace him; in the way of God there is no retreat, no weakness, no letup.”
