A ceremony to commemorate the late Hajj Qari Ahmad Ali Ghordarwazi, political leader of Hezbollah Afghanistan, was held yesterday (Friday) by the People’s Headquarters of Hezbollah Afghanistan and the family of the deceased in the Husseiniya of Herat in Mashhad, with the presence of various segments of the people. At this ceremony, Mohammad Hanif Babakhan, head of the Afghan Hezbollah Fighters’ Committee, referring to the status and personality of the late Ghordarwazi, said: “History will judge these great men and these men will be remembered by their names and memories in the golden history of the world.”

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mashhad: At this ceremony, Mohammad Hanif Babakhan, head of the Afghan Hezbollah Fighters’ Committee, referring to the personality and status of the late Qari Ahmad Ali Ghordarwazi, said that he was a person of consultation on current and social issues and was considered a great and influential figure.
He added: "History will judge these great men, and these men will remain in the golden history of the world with their names and memories."
Referring to concerns about the future of Hezbollah Afghanistan after the passing of the political leader of this movement, Baba Khan emphasized that the officials, commanders, popular councils, and forces that have been with the Afghan people for the past four decades will not give up on their ideals.
He stated: "God willing, the commanders, political officials, and popular councils that have been with the Afghan people for 40 to 45 years, since 1959 and 1960, will never give up for the sake of the sacred ideal of Hezbollah and will remain loyal to their leader, martyrs, and sacred ideals."
The head of the delegation of fighters of Hezbollah Afghanistan also appreciated the presence of guests who had participated in the ceremony from Herat and mentioned their efforts in holding meetings and activating the relevant councils.
Referring to the position of Hajj Abdul Khaliq Rezaei, he said that he has always been prominent as the deputy leader of Hezbollah Afghanistan, both in Iran and Afghanistan.
Baba Khan added that after the passing of Qari Ahmad Ali Ghordarwazi, the political and military cadres and social activists of Hezbollah Afghanistan will continue their activities centered on Hajj Abdul Khaliq Rezaei.
Referring to the activities of Hezbollah Afghanistan since 2012 and the cooperation of the people, he said: We were working with your help in all matters; we held good meetings, provided services to the families of the martyrs, worked in the cultural sector, and organized programs for the martyrs and their families.
He considered the role of the people and political activists, jihadi commanders, and social forces important in continuing this path and expressed hope that the “Holy Caravan of Hezbollah Afghanistan” will continue its path with unity and solidarity.
At the end, Baba Khan asked the people present at the ceremony to play a role in continuing the activities of Hezbollah Afghanistan with their presence and support. While appreciating the presence of the participants, he sent prayers for the happiness of the souls of the martyrs and the late Qari Ahmad Ali Ghordarwazi.
