America and the Zionist regime are sworn enemies of Islamic unity / Rulers of Islamic countries should recognize their real enemy

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-International Service: In a message on the occasion of Unity Week, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Seyyed Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei, congratulated the blessed birth anniversary of the last and most honorable Imam Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS), and called the plan of the ill-wishers and enemies of Islam to highlight differences in order to weaken the Islamic Ummah and dominate it. Referring to the fall of the deceptive masks from the face of the criminal America, he considered the unity of the Islamic Ummah and defense of each other against infidelity and synergy in various material and spiritual issues essential. Addressing the rulers of Islamic countries, he emphasized: The criminal rulers of America and the fake Zionist regime are sworn enemies of Islamic unity and the entire Islamic Ummah, including the nations of West Asia and North Africa; therefore, recognize your real enemy and confront its plan.

 

The text of the message of Imam Seyyed Mojtabi Khamenei, may God protect him and grant him peace, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Muhammad is the Messenger of God and those with him are strong against the infidels, merciful among them

I congratulate the noble nation of Iran and the great nation of Islam on the birthday of the blessed existence of the greatest light, the most noble of creation, the light of light, the chosen one of God, the city of knowledge, the mercy of the worlds, the honorable Messenger of Islam, peace be upon him and his family, and his pure and immaculate son, the complete divine proof, Imam Jafar Sadiq, may God bless him and grant him peace.

Since the sun of the existence of the final Prophet (PBUH) rose in the holy city of Mecca, the vision of human happiness, which is the pledge of perfect servitude and obedience to the Almighty, gained another radiance; the souls of the prophets, divine angels, and saints were overwhelmed with joy, and the demons of humans and jinn were filled with anger, regret, and sorrow. Because the most superior creation of God in all the countless worlds of creation was stepping onto the earthly stage and soon, wearing the robe of prophethood and finality, holding the great Quran and the mission of comprehensive guidance of man, he would set out to lead the great caravan of humanity towards servitude and perfection to God. The life of that Imam and his infallible successors is entirely a lesson in guidance and servitude, a lesson in knowledge and love, a lesson in belief and jihad, a lesson in personal and social good life and morals, a lesson in trust and honesty, a lesson in honor and dignity, a lesson in knowledge and action, a lesson in mercy and determination, a lesson in equity and justice, and a lesson in unity and brotherhood. The better these lessons are learned and practiced, the easier it will be for the children of mankind to reach the heights of happiness and well-being. We believe that the pure soul of the Prophet of Mercy, as well as the pure souls of the successors and pure pilgrims, may God bless them all, are always watching over, guiding, and compassionate towards the conditions of Muslims and the Islamic community. Whenever any mistake is made by the children of this kind and noble father, his heart is grieved, and whenever Muslims act on his lessons and instructions, his blessed heart is delighted.

Now, after going through difficult and turbulent times and going through many ups and downs from the beginning, Islam and its people have reached a fateful and decisive stage. Today, Muslims can play a very influential and history-making role. Today is the day when the prospect of the final victory of truth over falsehood, and Islam over disbelief, has come closer to reality than in all previous eras.

The first condition for this is the unity of the word of Muslims. The unity of Muslims against global disbelief is a Quranic strategy and a genuine teaching of the pure Islam of Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, and not a superficial and transient issue. The purpose of unity is to make common points between all the people the axis and the principle at the general level of Islamic societies. Of course, efforts are being made to transform points of difference into points of common ground, based on reasoning, while observing all aspects of brotherhood and companionship, and in perfect peace and harmony, as can be seen from the teachings of the Quran.

What is certain is that in the face of global disbelief, individual Muslims in Islamic societies must make the Quranic principle of “Stronger against the infidels, merciful among themselves” the center of their thoughts, expressions, and actions, and this is how Islamic unity and solidarity is achieved. Whenever either of the two parts of this heavenly message is removed from the stage of action of Muslims, they will also be removed from the position of honor that they rightfully acquired in the Islamic city, and this is a rule that is invariable.

This rule is one of the fundamental principles and messages of the Islamic Revolution. The first Unity Week was held in Esfand 1356 AH, during the struggle against the Pahlavi tyranny; when the great leader, martyr A’la-Allah Maqame-e-Sharif, raised this idea during his exile in Iranshahr, and it was welcomed by Shiites and Sunnis. Soon after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the “Unity Week” was officially established by the initiative of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini. But, of course, the ill-wishers are always lurking in this great blessing. What gives them hope is highlighting the differences. Although ideological and religious differences are an important aspect of the enemy of Islam’s purpose and he is very keen on using them; but he will not be satisfied with that and will try to turn all kinds of racial, cultural, social, economic, political, and geographical differences into excuses to create differences between the Muslim people in Iran and in any other Islamic country, so that from this perspective, he can watch the fragmentation of the Islamic nation and the depletion of its forces and exercise his dominance over them at the appropriate time. The command of the Holy Quran in these cases is mentioned in the Holy verse: “And do not dispute, so that you will fail and your wind will go away.” Therefore, anyone in any position who does anything that leads to division among Muslims and creates conflict in the Muslim community, knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally, has fulfilled the purpose of the enemies of Islam. And how can anyone in this day and age attribute such an act to their ignorance and negligence, while now the world's tyrants, led by the criminal America, have removed the deceptive and thin masks from the ugly face of their colonial goals and arrogant and hegemonic plans, taken off their deceptive velvet gloves, and shown their bloody claws to the whole world? Now is the time for Muslims to think and look at the events more closely. If Muslims were a single hand that clenched its fist firmly, would the Palestinian nation have been subjected to such helpless oppression and crime by the occupiers? And if the nations and states living on the shores of the Persian Gulf established their union under the banner of Islam, would faceless and corrupt men dare to covet their lands and assets from thousands of kilometers away? My strong and repeated advice to the rulers of Islamic countries, especially the countries of the West Asian region and the Persian Gulf, is to recognize your real enemy, understand his plan, and confront him. The solution to the problems of the Islamic Ummah is the union of words, friendship, and cooperation on the path of goodness. The criminal rulers of America and the fake Zionist regime are the sworn enemies of this union and friendship. They are not only the enemies of the Islamic Republic, the nation of Iran, and the great Islamic Resistance Front; Rather, they are hostile to the entire Muslim Ummah, including the nations of West Asia and North Africa, and in this matter, even the rulers of these countries, many of whom are considered their collaborators, are not exempt from this; just as the open disrespect and use of ugly expressions towards some leaders of Islamic countries by the leaders of arrogance are present in your and our recent memory. The important lesson of unity and non-conflict is the first lesson of the Islamic school of thought regarding the type of confrontation with enemies and friends. However, its second lesson is defending each other against disbelief, and the third lesson is all kinds of cooperation and synergy in various issues of the material and spiritual life of Muslims in terms of wealth, security, knowledge and progress, which will end in reaching a new Islamic civilization. Therefore, unity among Muslims is the main cornerstone for achieving the beloved and dominant Islamic civilization. This conceptual and intellectual package that contains our wish for the Islamic world has, in turn, been realized to an acceptable extent in our beloved Iran, and this servant’s advice to the people is to never allow any differences to arise among themselves.

Finally, I hope that through the intercession of the Holy Prophet and his pure progeny, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them, the shadow of mercy and blessings of God’s grace will be cast upon Islamic societies, and that they will climb the steps of progress and glory more and more day by day in the shadow of acting on God’s commands.
