Intensification of the Ukrainian War; Russia's Control of Two More Regions

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: A day after Russia announced that it had taken control of three villages in the war with Ukraine, Moscow says that two more villages have also come under Russian control.

 

The Russian Defense Ministry, releasing a video of the clashes with Ukraine, announced that the Russian army is on the offensive and has taken control of two villages in the Donetsk People's Republic.

 

The ministry said that during the operation of the 35th Motorized Rifle Brigade and the Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Center Group of Forces, the villages of Rubzhneve and Novandryukha in the Donetsk People's Republic were cleared of Ukrainian armed forces.

 

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, "Before the offensive units advanced, the army inflicted damage on the enemy's fortified areas using artillery systems and attack drones... Guided aerial munitions were used to destroy the firing points of the Ukrainian armed forces."
