Europe’s hostile stance against Iran; Brussels increases pressure alongside Washington

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Reuters, the European Union announced on Monday that it will continue to work with the US and other G7 and international partners to maintain pressure on Iran, in line with this week’s G20 meeting.

 

Europe claimed that the EU welcomes efforts to ensure that Iran stops what it calls its destabilizing activities and participates in peace talks in good faith, as well as further economic pressure, including through US-led economic operations.

 

The EU has claimed that it will continue to work closely with the US and other G7 and international partners to maintain pressure on Iran and help reduce regional tensions and stability.

 

These claims are being made at a time when the European Union, without mentioning the US aggression against Iran, has not been spared the consequences of war due to rising tensions and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
