Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The 14th Asia-Pacific Postal Union Conference began today, Tuesday, with the participation of representatives of 32 countries from Asia and the Pacific, including a delegation from the Emirati Afghan Post Company, in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.
At this conference, representatives of the member countries of the union will discuss and exchange views on strengthening and consolidating professional relations in the postal services sector, formulating a four-year development strategy, training programs, and enhancing professional capacities.
Improving the quality of postal services, developing traditional and modern postal services, and examining ways to expand cooperation among member countries are also among the main themes of this conference.
A delegation from the Emirati Afghan Post Company is also present at this meeting and will participate in discussions and programs related to the development and improvement of postal services.
