The list of US crimes against the Iranian nation is now more complete than ever: Tonight, a residential house in Kohstak, Sirik, was targeted by an attack while people were celebrating a wedding party. More than 50 innocent women, men, and children were martyred and injured.

This atrocity cannot be separated from the chain of attacks that have occurred before in Minab, Lamerd, Qeshm, and other places; just as it cannot be separated from attacks on military targets; attacks that were covered with deceptive labels and justifications.

More dangerous than the bomb itself is the normalization of bombing; and more dangerous than silence is the interpretation of silence as legitimacy.

Iran will respond decisively to these barbaric crimes. But governments and international organizations that remain silent in the face of such barbarity or seek to justify it should know that their silence is not neutrality. When illegal attacks and blatant crimes are whitewashed and justified for political expediency, the line between condemning the crime and normalizing it disappears.

Those who remain silent today will not be safe from the consequences of this silence tomorrow, because turning a blind eye to cruelty and atrocities does not curb it, but rather emboldens the perpetrators to continue their crimes against everyone.
