Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Chinese President Xi Jinping, in a conversation with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi about developments in the Middle East, emphasized Beijing's support for countries in the region to create a new security structure.
Xi said that the people of Middle East countries should determine the fate of the region themselves and oppose foreign interference.
He also called on foreign powers to abandon double standards and support the active role of the United Nations in regional issues.
The Chinese president also announced that Beijing and Cairo will strengthen security and counter-terrorism cooperation and expand bilateral cooperation in the fields of clean energy, electric vehicles, space and the digital economy.
