Ansarullah surprise operation; firing 14 ballistic missiles at Saudi-affiliated positions

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Media sources close to the Saudi coalition reported that this morning (Thursday), Yemeni armed forces fired at least 14 ballistic missiles at gatherings of hostile forces in the outskirts of Al-Mokha (Taiz province) and south of Al-Khokha (Hodeidah province), causing heavy damage to the enemy's military infrastructure and disrupting their field order.

 

According to the report, this operation is a continuation of the preventive operations of the Yemeni armed forces, and according to published statistics, the number of ballistic missiles fired by Ansar Allah towards the coastal fronts in the provinces of Taiz and Hodeidah has reached 72 in less than a month.

 

The German news agency reported, citing a military source close to the Saudi coalition, that Ansar Allah fired these missiles from positions in the east and north of Taiz province. Following this operation, field sources reported that loud explosions were heard in the provinces of Taiz and Ibb, which were caused by the firing of ballistic missiles from bases located in these areas towards designated targets.

 

Yemeni Ansar Allah has not yet claimed responsibility for the firing of these missiles. This escalation of tension occurs after a week of relative calm on several battlefronts in the west coast and Taiz. The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly stressed that any aggression or hostile movement against the national interests and territorial integrity of the country will be met with a harsh and extensive response, and the resistance fronts will continue their operations until the set goals are achieved.

 

In contrast, sources close to the forces of the Yemeni government affiliated with the Saudi coalition have made claims of “targeting Ansar Allah positions” in Marib and Dhale’ and also “downing drones.” On the Maqbaneh front (located in Taiz), fierce clashes have also been reported between Ansar Allah and Liwa al-Nasr (affiliated with the forces of the Yemeni government) throughout this front. These clashes began after Ansar Allah targeted the positions of these forces with artillery fire throughout this front.
