Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Senior US Senator Bernie Sanders reacted today to Trump's message on X about naming the Strait of Hormuz after himself.
Sanders wrote in the message, "No, Mr. Trump. The American people do not want your name on the Strait of Hormuz. They want you to end your illegal war in Iran; a war that has brought the price of diesel to $5.69 per gallon and the price of gasoline to $4.12 per gallon."
Sanders added, "You are the president, not a mad king. Act like a president."
Yesterday, Donald Trump wrote in a message on the social network Truth Social, reiterating America's claim of control over the Strait of Hormuz, "Should we change the name of the Strait of Hormuz to Trump Strait???"
