Putin
After Putin's 3-hour talks with US envoys ended, the Russian president's aide described the talks as frank and constructive.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Kremlin announced that talks between Vladimir Putin, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner had ended after 3 hours. Putin's recent meeting with US negotiators was the sixth of its kind and came amid intensive diplomatic efforts to make progress in resolving the Ukraine war.

Witkoff and Kushner are scheduled to leave for Kiev tomorrow to meet and talk with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow on Saturday and met with Putin in the Kremlin that evening.

In this regard, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov told the TASS news agency: "The talks with Vitkoff and Kushner were very constructive and frank." He also reported that Vitkoff and Kushner pledged to raise Putin's assessments of the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict in their talks in Kiev.

Putin: We agreed on a three-day ceasefire, but we did not accept its extension
During these talks, the Russian president announced that Moscow and Kiev had agreed to a three-day cessation of attacks, but that Ukraine's proposal to extend the ceasefire for more than three days was not agreed to.

According to the RT news agency, Vladimir Putin, in a meeting with American negotiators Steve Vitkoff and Jared Kushner, said that Russia had stopped its attacks on Kiev for three days since September 5, and that the Ukrainian side had significantly reduced the intensity of its attacks on Russian territory during this time.

Explaining the agreement, Putin said: “The Ukrainian authorities asked for a ceasefire of more than three days, but we never agreed on anything like that with them.”

The Russian president went on to emphasize to Vitkov and Kushner: “However, we will do everything in our power to ensure the security of the negotiations and the mediators, that is, you and the people accompanying you.”

Putin also stressed that Moscow would take all necessary measures to ensure the security of the American negotiators during their stay in Russia.

During the talks, he said that since midnight on September 5, the Ukrainian side had significantly reduced the intensity of its attacks on Russian territory. According to the Russian president, the country’s armed forces have not launched any attacks on Kiev since then, a move that Moscow described as a “partial” ceasefire.

The Russian president also clarified that Ukrainian officials had called for a broader ceasefire in their public statements, lasting more than three days, but Moscow had not reached a direct agreement with the Ukrainian side on extending the ceasefire.

The meeting took place in a situation where US President Donald Trump had previously announced that Vitkov and Kushner would present proposals to end the war in Ukraine during their visit to Moscow.

At the same time as these talks, Putin ordered a three-day suspension of all Russian airstrikes on Kiev, starting at midnight on Saturday. This measure was taken in connection with Vitkov and Kushner's visit to Kiev and their contacts with Ukrainian officials.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also announced that the Ukrainian side had been informed of Russia's decision to stop the attacks on Kiev.
