Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, the country's Prime Minister will meet with senior Chinese officials during his visit to Beijing and discuss bilateral relations, economic and investment cooperation, as well as regional developments.
Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majid Al Ansari, emphasizing Doha's diplomatic priorities, announced that the necessity of "ensuring security and freedom of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz" will also be emphasized in these consultations.
This visit comes at a time when Qatar has played an active role in mediating between Iran and the United States in recent weeks to reduce tensions, and Sheikh Al Thani had previously met with senior Iranian officials in Tehran.
It is worth noting that China, as a permanent member of the Security Council, has always emphasized the diplomatic resolution of regional crises.
