64% of Americans Dissatisfied with Trump’s Performance
A new poll showed that the level of satisfaction with the performance of US President Donald Trump among the American public has dropped to 33%. 64% of Americans do not approve of his performance.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): With the US midterm elections in November approaching, a new poll from the Financial Times newspaper shows that Donald Trump’s popularity has reached its lowest level since the polls began.

According to the poll, conducted by the British company Focal Data, only 33% of registered voters are satisfied with Trump’s performance in the White House, which is down from the previous month (35%) and is a new negative record.

This decline in popularity occurs at a time when dissatisfaction with the government’s economic performance has also reached its peak. Nearly two-thirds of respondents believe the U.S. economy is headed in the wrong direction, and 57 percent say their finances have gotten worse under Trump. 56 percent of respondents also oppose the Trump administration’s new tariff policy on Canadian goods and are concerned that it will further increase prices for consumers.

Trump’s support has fallen to an all-time low not only among the general electorate but also among the Republican Party’s traditional base. According to the poll, Trump’s approval rating among Republican voters has fallen to 72 percent, a record low in the Financial Times polls. Only 53 percent of Republicans approve of Trump’s handling of jobs and the economy, down nearly 8 percentage points from the previous month.

Analysts believe that the ongoing war with Iran and the rising costs of it are among the main factors in Trump’s decline in popularity. The six-month war with Iran has not only increased the cost of borrowing for the United States, but also sharply increased the price of fuel and consumer goods. This is while the price of gasoline in the United States has reached an unprecedented record, increasing by an average of more than $ 4 per gallon.

The results of the survey, released less than two months before the midterm elections, are a serious warning for the Republican Party. 46 percent of respondents believe that Trump’s presence on the campaign trail has made it more difficult for Republican candidates to win, and 47 percent said that Trump’s public support for a candidate would discourage them from voting for him. The survey was conducted with the participation of 1,914 registered voters from August 28 to September 1 (September 6-10) and has a margin of error of about 2.6 percentage points.
