Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Anadolu, Israeli Minister of War Yisrael Katz threatened to launch a full-scale war in the West Bank.
He claimed: In the event of unrest in the West Bank or preparations for an attack similar to the attacks of October 7, 2023, a "full-scale war" will begin against the Palestinian Authority.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper quoted Katz as saying in a statement: Attacks in the West Bank have reached their lowest level in recent decades, and we will take all necessary measures to prevent their recurrence.
He claimed: "In the event of unrest, and if security forces and institutions affiliated with the Palestinian Authority carry out attacks, or if we know with certainty that they are about to carry out an attack similar to the October 7 attacks against our forces and Jewish settlements, I and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have ordered the army to prepare for full-scale war against senior officials and security forces affiliated with the Palestinian Authority and its institutions."
