Yemen's Ansarullah movement has categorically denied claims made by US President Donald Trump who alleged that the movement contacted him to request non-interference dismissing the assertion as a "lie" and "baseless."

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – International Service: Hizam al-Asad, a member of the Ansarullah movement, stated in response to Trump's remarks that the claim is entirely false and that no contact has taken place between the two sides.
Trump had previously claimed that Ansarullah contacted him, asking the US not to intervene regarding the Bab al-Mandab Strait and stating that American ships could pass through the strait freely.
This denial comes as Ansarullah has recently succeeded in seizing control of the country's entire western coast, including the Bab al-Mandab Strait, bringing the strait fully under its control.
Ansarullah has repeatedly stated that its military operations are conducted solely in response to Saudi aggression and the blockade of Yemen, and that there are no back-channel negotiations or contacts with Washington.
